Innovative Italian Company leader worldwide in the design and implementation of complex technological systems in the Metering field commissioned us to research the BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER LATAM / SPAIN / PORTUGAL MARKETS.

The role will report direclty to the Commercial Director and will be in charge of sales’ growth and development of the Latam, Spain and Portugal Markets.

Main tasks:

-identifying and developing the business and company expansion into the markets mentioned

-analyzing the local market situation, the reference market and current customers in order to develop and improve business opportunities

-cooperating in close contact with Company’s Marketing and Technical Team for discussion, support and training

-being always present at the sector’s events, building relationships with the decision-makers of potential customer companies

-managing existing key customers by following and possibly anticipating their new needs

-drawing up and discuss reports, offers, budgets

-executing strategic business roadmaps in order to achieve company’s growth targets

The ideal candidate has a Degree in Engineering or Economics and owns a deep knowledge of the reference sector and products (Metering) or comes from companies specialised in equipment/systems for water supply and distribution or for civil and industrial water treatment.

It is also required a sound experience in international sales both through public tenders and private contracts.

Additionally, the role requests are to speak fluently English and Spanish (or Portuguese) to have several soft skills such as commercial propensity, excellent communication skills, predisposition to initiative and leadership.
