GROUP OPERATIONS CONTROLLER

Area: Veneto

Structured and Multinational American Group, leader in their business sector, with multiple manufacturing plants located worldwide, is searching for their Headqurter situated in Veneto the GROUP OPERATIONS CONTROLLER.

As a true business leader with all the parties involved, he/she supports the organization in its objective of monitoring supply chain costs following the manufacturing, sourcing and logistic activity of 7 plants located in Europe.

In particular, she/he will be responsible for the planning, monitoring, controlling, and forecasting of the business unit budget, creating systems and new controls to achieve the department financial goals with the aim of improving costs. The position is based in Italy and will require 50% of time to travel in Italy and abroad.

The key activities of the role would include:

Ensure the correct and integrated supply of the procedures of cost calculations of the products as such, including the necessary cost parameters (cost per hour, efficiency etc ), in order to guarantee the definition and update of the cost of the product of the Division.

Guarantee the correct implementation of the inventory, defining operative methods and calendar, integrating data of missing costs, in order to assure the reliability of the data in coherence with the requirements of the external auditors.

Monitoring the course of the business while reporting deviations or risks to the management board;

Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and to draw up deviation analyses, budgets, forecasts and ad-hoc analyses;

Involved in the operation, collecting data, and setting up measures of controls to improve revenue and cost of the business unit;

Integrating with other departments including operational departments to understand the true bases of efficiency and unit synergies;

Checking that Business unit reports are fed in accurately and on time and be confident to challenge the integrity of data where appropriate;

It is also required to have a solid multi-year experience in the role, in complex and dynamic international contexts, as well as a Degree in Economics or an equivalent Degree and must be fluent in English and Italian. The ideal candidate is a goal oriented person, good at prioritizing his/her tasks and meeting deadlines, is highly committed, assertive with very good communication skills.
